BFA has also added a Burlinson YDNA match in England, and a group of family members met with him and some of his family in April 2024 when they traveled to the UK and Ireland. The trip included several stops where the Burleson/Burlison/Burlinson ancestors lived in medieval England.  See the Resources page, Our English Kin.

The Burleson Family Association is dedicated to preserving the history and memories of the Burleson family across its many lines of descent, regardless of surname spelling. Since 1981, hundreds of family members and others have worked to find, document, and share the family’s exciting and colorful history. Numerous bulletins, documents, books, and informative reports have been written over the years detailing family trees and the stories and adventures of family members. Much of that historical data can be found in our Archives Access section for your research.

Mission Statement: The mission of the Burleson Family Association is to bring family members closer together through communication and fellowship and to research and preserve the history and genealogy of all Burleson branches and their allied families.
